Both small and large size companies are finding ways to use these social platforms to listen to conversations, engage and respond.
Eric Swain from Limenoodle, a social Media consultant, will be giving CamCreative an overview of what’s happening out in cyberspace and hints and tips to help you understand and tackle this area.
Well done to Scott and Dill for jointly winning the CamCreative photography competition in November!

Two exciting “social profit” projects have recently been launched in Cambridge. Mark Desvaux will tell us more about thankubank.org and Part of the Solution- the movie.
THANKUBANK.org – In the midst of economic collapse and financial fury, a new kind of bank for a new generation has quietly launched after two years of planning and development. Unlike any other bank, this one issues a free currency called the THANKU. You can’t buy anything with it, only give it away. The THANKU is the international currency of gratitude, and hope to revolutionise people’s lives around the world. So what is the THANKU, how does it work and how might it cheers us all up? How could it contribute to help the environmental problems in the world as well as helping make the world a better, more balanced place? Find out more at the Cam Creative talk.
PART OF THE SOLUTION (the Movie) – Have you ever watch a documentary about the impending end of the earth and come away completely depressed and overwhelmed? Age of Stupid, Inconvenient Truth, anyone? A group of filmmakers in Cambridge and London are currently producing a new documentary feature film call Part of the Solution, focusing on where hope lies for the future. With some amazing interviews already completed, find out how you can get involved. Watch the trailer and visit the web site at: http://www.4000saturdays.com/movie
